Our Mission is to develop and maintain affordable housing and foster self-sufficiency in the Albany area.

The APHCD was formed in 1991 by concerned local citizens to address the shelter needs of low-income families and individuals. We now maintain 133 units of housing in four neighborhoods with approximately 400 residents!

The Albany Partnership for Housing and Community Development (APHCD), is a private, non-profit organization that provides the expertise & commitment to develop affordable housing, which improves Albany's social and economic base. We are committed to creating and maintaining a supply of decent, affordable housing in Albany. The Partnership Board of Directors is made up of local citizens & community leaders who are committed to keeping our properties affordable, safe, and attractive for the community we serve.
