Compensation: $833/mo, $4725 education award, student loan forbearance, child care and relocation assistance, if eligible, paid vacation and sick time, and health/Rx coverage. Summary of Position: The Housing Program Development VISTA will help coordinate activities leading to the implementation of the 2007-2010 strategic plan. The position will help organize the planning process, seek donations and help to build the capacity of APHCD.
Terms: Car required, Requires full time service without outside commitments, Will attend orientation in Utah 7/10-7/13/2006

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assists by writing grants, seeking funding and community by-in for projects described in the 2007-2010 Strategic Plan.
2. Assists staff in the development of volunteer opportunities.
3. Develops and maintains a resource database of volunteers and donors.
4. Helps to develop annual giving campaign.
5. Works with staff to develop a second annual newsletter.
6. Responsible for the upkeep of the APHCD website.
7. Works with affordable housing work groups to develop collaborations and coordination of programs, services and events.
8. Completes and submits in a timely manner all ‘Building Bridges’ reports and time sheets.
9. Attends ‘Building Bridges’ and AmeriCorps*VISTA sponsored events, as appropriate.
